Elon Musk Sees Dogecoin As A Solution To Twitter’s Spam Bot Issue

Elon Musk has made his intentions toward eliminating spambots on Twitter known to all as he looks to effect massive changes on the popular social media platform.

The billionaire has revealed that he agrees with the suggestions offered by Mark Cuban as he continues to explore ways he can get to curb the issue of spamming on Twitter.

Fellow billionaire Mark Cuban has previously suggested that Dogecoin be adopted as collateral on Twitter, where every single post will attract a single DOGE. If a user flags a post as spam and another human confirms it, the spammer will lose his DOGE token.

The billionaire Tesla owner appears to have agreed with the suggestions offered by Mark Cuban, and he sees using the largest meme cryptocurrency as collateral as a good idea worth exploring.

From Crypto Critic to Supporter

Billionaire Mark Cuban is previously known to be an ardent critic of digital currencies who has now become one of the supporters of the meme cryptocurrency.

The owner of the Dallas Mavericks professional basketball team playing in the American NBA believes that Dogecoin has the potential to become the leading digital token in the world.

As a mark of support for Dogecoin, the billionaire has previously announced that DOGE would be accepted for payment from seasoned ticket holders, which has since been in place. Likewise, the team’s merchandise can also be bought with the meme coin.

Elon Musk’s Tesla has since begun accepting payment in Dogecoin for some of its merch, and Musk himself announced that SpaceX and Starlinks would also start taking payment in DOGE in the future.

Admittedly, the meme cryptocurrency has experienced exponential growth owing to its broader acceptance in the mainstream and the continuous use of the token for transactions and utility.

Twitter Accepts Musk’s Takeover

U.Today has previously reported that the billionaire’s bid of $44 billion has been accepted by the Twitter team, which could see the transformation of the popular social media platform into a private-driven enterprise.

It is reported that the deal is set to be concluded, which would see Musk take over the social networking giant after days of speculation.

However, some believe that the deal would not be finalized because it was more of a publicity stunt created by the eccentric billionaire who is known to be capable of pulling such stunts with his personality.

Moreover, the Doge community is excited about the deal because it signifies another major development toward the progress of the leading meme token, considering that its most ardent fan is taking over Twitter.

There are many indications that Musk will likely integrate DOGE on Twitter once the deal has been finalized and all gray areas have been ironed out with the relevant authorities.

The billionaire has since announced that he is introducing a monthly subscription-based service on Twitter where users will be able to pay using Dogecoin. Another idea suggested by Musk is to introduce Dogecoin tipping on Twitter.
