Tesla CEO, Elon Musk Wants Coinbase to Include Doge on its Platform.

SpaceX founder and top dogecoin fan Elon Musk would like Coinbase exchange to remove its “No Doge Allowed” policy and enlist dogecoin on it’s platform.

His intention was made known through a tweet. A Twitter user asked the Billionaire CEO if he wants meme based cryptocurrency to be enabled on Coinbase platform. Elon Musk’s response was a “Yes”. This shows the Tesla CEO interest in dogecoin being on Coinbase exchange platform

The inclusion of Dogecoin on Coinbase platform would further expose the cryptocurrency to a new wave of investors and boosts it potentials for going up the charts. The reason for this is that Coinbase is a US regulated exchange platform which is filled with billionaires, institutional investors and high ranking individuals with large net worth.

Tesla had purchased $1.5 billion worth of bitcoin using the Coinbase platform. The Crypto exchange platform helps large corporation and companies to invest in bitcoin and other cryptos. It turns out that Tesla is also part of the Coinbase’s big clients.

Elon Musk’s company, Tesla made headlines in February when it revealed a $1.5 billion bitcoin investment. The company went further to disclose in an annual report that the purchase would help “diversify and maximize returns on our cash that is not required to maintain adequate operating liquidity.”

At press time, dogecoin is gradually taking leaps higher than $0.05. This represents a 6.7% gain on a 24-hour basis. Prices went so high over 600% in January alone and continues to rise by nearly 1,130% so far this year. In addition, Bitcoin is going up more than 100% on a year-to-date basis, according to CoinDesk 20 data.

The acceptance of Doge keeps increasing in the celebrity space over the past few weeks. The NBA basketball team, Dallas Mavericks are accepting dogecoin as a mode of payment for their tickets and general merchandise. Billionaire and owner of basketball team, Mark Cuban is growing interest in the meme Crypto as his team makes lot of dogecoin transactions.

Another popular and top sport brand, Wooter Apparel is also showing massive support for the dog coined cryptocurrency. Wooter Apparel alongside Medical Supplier CovCare, made an announcement that they would start receiving dogecoin as another means of payment for their products and services.
