Apple Advertises Alternate Payments For Crypto Enthusiasts

Apple’s latest advertisement indicates new job openings in the payment sector as the iPhone makers are now integrating crypto payments into their systems.

Vice president of Apple Pay, Jennifer Baily stated their company saw long-term potential in cryptocurrency, two years ago. The technological giant still remains keen on digital assets, especially in terms of alternative payment methods.

According to their latest ads, Apple is now seeking new talents with at least five years of experience in alternative payments such as digital wallets, and virtual coins, and any other rapidly growing payment methods. The advertisement was posted in collaboration with Apple’s team in Cupertino, which is on par with Apple Pay and iPhone Wallet.

Given how Apple is a technology giant, it is likely the company is making preparations to support Bitcoin payments in the latest devices via Wallet apps. The iPhone wallet app serves as a central repository for digital cards, tickets, and vouchers.

Although the Apple Store listed Coinbase, the largest crypto exchange, however, it is still unknown how the integration will work, but the app seems to support Apple Wallet.

According to Coinbase’s website, the crypto exchange does not support Apple Pay but is currently working to provide IOS users with a fast and secure way to use cryptocurrencies.

Numerous cryptocurrency enthusiasts saw the job postings as the perfect opportunity to apply. Being one of the most valuable companies, Apple leaning towards Bitcoin and altcoins paves the way for the future.

Apple has the perfect opportunity to utilize cryptocurrencies, making all transactions safe and secure for IOS users to purchase and sell digital assets, noted by RBC Capital market analysts.

Apple is not the only brand leaning towards cryptocurrency, and alternate payments. Many brands including Hasbro and eBay are moving towards alternate payments as well.
