I am sure you know by now that the founder and CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk has been in full support of Crypto in the last few months. This all started when he endorsed the meme-inspired cryptocurrency DOGE. This endorsement lead to a significant surge in price and then shortly afterward it was confirmed that his company had declared that it had purchased $1.5 billion worth of Bitcoin. This is widely recognized as one of the biggest things to happen to the crypto markets.
Today, the big news has come as Musk took to Twitter to confirm that it was now possible to purchase a Tesla using Bitcoin. This news has been expected for a while but the news has come as a very welcome surprise to many as the markets have already seen a slight improvement after they have been struggling all week.
Musk further added that at this point, payment in Bitcoin will be available for his American store. “The bitcoin buying feature will be available beyond the US this year.
