Cardano: Hoskinson To Hold Keynote At ‘Blockchain Africa Conference

Cardano in the last few months has gone from being a little talked about project with a loyal following to the third biggest cryptocurrency in the world in terms of market cap. This has lead to increase interest in what Cardano is about and what they have planned on the horizon.

On March 18th -19th the Blockchain Africa Conference 2021 will be taking place and the organizers of the event have announced that Charles Hoskinson, founder, and CEO of IOG and inventor of Cardano, will deliver a keynote addressing “Cardano’s projects on the African continent.” Hoskinson has always looked to Africa as a continent that would benefit the most from crypto.

For those who follow Charles on Twitter, you will be aware that he had done a series of cryptic tweets in February which have all had something to do with birds. It is now being speculated that he will use this event to finally explain what all of this means. He did reveal on his youtube channel in mid-Feb that they were close to securing a deal with Ethiopia.

Leaders Of Crypto Joining Together

Hoskinson is not the only name that stands out on this list. Other key speakers include Ben Zhou, co-founder, and CEO of Bybit as well as Denelle Dixon, CEO and Executive Director of Stellar Development Foundation.

As you can imagine due to the way the world is at the moment this conference will be held online. Tickets for the conference are also free so if you are a Cardano holder or have an interest in how Crypto can be used in Africa add this date to your diary.
