NOWPayments, a crypto payment processor recently announced that it has integrated support for Cardano. This ultimately means that their plugins for various e-commerce solutions, such as Shopify and WooCommerce, now support payments of ADA!
A project manager at Cardano Foundation, Jeremy Firster announced the news on his Twitter account on April 21st. In this tweet, Firster made a reference to a Reddit post made by Kate Lifshits who is a marketing manager at NOWPayments.
Cardano Supreme was one of the first online merchants to announce that thanks to NOWPayments they were now able to accept ADA payments. This is huge news for Cardano because, despite our everlasting faith in the Cardano project, we have to admit that in order for a crypto project to be successful their needs to be some proof of usability. For ADA to be accepted by such a large platform should indicate the growing faith that ADA is a currency that is here to stay.
